Zoho Books, QuickBooks and Xero.
Our team uses all three platforms. If you already have an accounting system, we review its edition, configuration, access and opening balances before suggesting changes. Changing software is useful only when it addresses a real requirement.
The work may involve improving the chart of accounts, correcting bank feeds, organising reporting or moving usable records into a new system. We agree the required data, checks and handover before a migration begins.

Questions about working together.
Can Firswood take over from our current accountant?
Yes. We first review the existing accounts, access arrangements and outstanding work, then agree the handover. We identify the records needed from your previous accountant and any opening balances that require checking.
Can we appoint you for a single service?
Yes. You can discuss a defined requirement, such as backlog accounting, a VAT return or a reporting project. Ongoing support is available where you need a regular accounting and tax service.
Will we need to change our accounting software?
Not automatically. We work with Zoho Books, QuickBooks and Xero and assess your current setup first. Any proposed change should have a clear purpose, with migration work agreed before it starts.
What should we prepare for an initial discussion?
Start with your business activity, legal entity, current software and the work you need done. Mention relevant dates and unfinished periods. We will then identify the records needed for a scope and fee proposal.
